From the valley station at Tröpolach the longest gondola in Europe carries you up, and from it you can drop onto a 7.5 km piste. The Nassfeld area lies on the Italian-Austrian border. Your reward for the distance driven is a holiday full of sun with a hint of southern ease. On foot or by bike, you can cover hundreds of kilometres of trails winding through the striking countryside of south-western Carinthia. Families with children will appreciate the easy cycle paths with minimal climbing in the Gailtal valley, which even the smallest can manage. Do you prefer adrenaline? Then enjoy rafting on the river Gail, a single trail, or the Däumling via ferrata with its 40-metre suspension bridge. You can relax by the clear lake Pressegger See, where the water reaches an incredible 28 °C in summer.
