Hotel Schütthof is in a quiet part of Zell am See, just a few minutes’ walk from the Areitbahn cable car, which gives easy access to the Schmittenhöhe ski area. It offers comfortable rooms, the VULCANO SPA on the roof (top floor) with a Finnish sauna, a herbal bio sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation zone with a panoramic view. Guests appreciate the excellent location close to the pistes, hiking trails and cycle paths, the friendly atmosphere and the quality of the service. Popular places to visit nearby include the lake Zell am See, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, the Sigmund-Thun-Klamm gorge, Krimmler Wasserfälle, the Grossglockner high alpine road, the Liechtensteinklamm gorge, Kaprun castle, the Tauern Spa thermal baths and the Top of Salzburg viewpoint.

The hotel is in Schüttdorf, 350 m or 5 minutes’ walk from the “AreitXpress” ski lift. The centre of Zell am See is about 2.5 km away. In the immediate area there are restaurants, a supermarket, a shopping centre and bars.

The hotel was built in 1950 and rebuilt and renovated in 2014. The hotel has 70 rooms on five floors in one building.
