Accommodation description:
Pension Stoder is located in a quiet part of Hinterstoder, about 1.2 km from the centre and the Hössbahn cable car. It offers accommodation in cosy apartments for 2–6 people, equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The apartments on the first floor have a balcony with a view of the surrounding mountains. Guests can use the parking right by the Pension. From mid-May to mid-October guests receive the regional Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard free of charge, which allows free use of the cable cars, entry to the swimming pool and to museums and further discounts on attractions in the region. The Pension is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling trips. Popular excursion destinations in the area include the Schiederweiher pond – voted the most beautiful place in Austria 2018, the Dr. Vogelgesang-Klamm gorge, the Großer Priel mountain, Gleinkersee lake, the cable car to Wurzeralm, the town of Windischgarsten and Kremsmünster monastery and much more.
In summer you can do various sports activities, such as high-mountain hikes, cycling or walks through the picturesque little village with a panoramic view of the Totes Gebirge mountains. The ski bus stop, which serves skiers in winter and works as a tourist bus in summer, is 200 m from the Pension.
