A wonderful race and the longest descent in the world:-)!!!
Just register at http://www.schlagdasass.at/ and you get the chance to test yourself in the race. Starts are in groups of about 20 people and you try to ski the course of over 25 km as fast as possible. Careful, every second counts, so fight even when boarding the cable car!!!
The race is open to all racers and hobby skiers who register and want to experience the great atmosphere of the race with a rich supporting programme.
The prizes for the first three places are a dream: 1. A Ford Focus on loan for 6! months, 2. A week's stay with a 6-day ski pass at the hotel Falkensteiner Carinzia 3. A hot-air balloon flight for 2 people with the Gosser balloon
Ass does not mean a backside, but the first letters of the name of the well-known World Cup racer Armin Assinger, who also takes part in the race in the first group of skiers! So you can compare your time with the very best.

Warm-Up Party
17:00 in the afternoon pasta party at Alois („zum Alois“ in Tröpolach). The pasta voucher is part of the participant accreditation for entrants!
19:00 Win a start place in the first group at "Schlag das ASS": "RUN & SKI" (5 start places in the "Armin & Friends" group will be allocated in this competition)

I. Arrival at the start of the Millennium Express to the Kofel centre in Madritsche. Descent on pistes 45 and 40 to the Gartnerkofel chairlift.
from 7:30 Ride up to the start on the Gartnerkofel chairlift. (Driving up by car to the "Trögl car park" (valley station of the Gartnerkofel cable car) is also possible.

Sports enthusiasts, former World Cup racers and everyone who wants to experience the joy of skiing and racing take part in the race.
The course is 25.6 Km long and has a vertical drop of 6400 metres.
The aim of the race is to beat the television presenter and former World Cup racer Armin Assinger, who is the patron of the whole race. The second name of this event is therefore Schlag das Ass(inger).
Where it is located
