Sporthotel Mölltal is located in the centre of the town of Flattach and offers an à la carte restaurant and a wellness centre with a sauna, infrared cabin, gym, steam bath and whirlpool.
The hotel places you in the Hohe Tauern National Park, with three-thousand-metre peaks all around. Head west and you can visit the well-known mountain town of Heiligenblut and drive the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse high alpine road, which takes you below the highest peak of Austria of the same name, or you can visit the town of Lienz and raft the Möll or the Drau. Head east along the valley and you can visit the spa town of Mallnitz and cross to Bad Gastein by car train, or continue further down the valley to Spittal an der Drau and on to the Millstättersee. For a whole week we will have enough day-trip destinations, and many of them free thanks to the Kärnten Card, which is included in the price of the stay in summer! There is a local swimming pool nearby, and a nice swimming pool in Obervellach, 5 minutes away.
The hotel offers half board. All rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, a mountain view and a bathroom, Wi-fi.
On site you can take up 13 different sports, including rafting, canoeing and tennis. An outdoor pool and a climbing wall are a 5-minute walk from Sporthotel Mölltal. The ski resort on the Mölltal glacier is a 10-minute drive away and can be visited free of charge with the Kärnten Card.
From 28.6.- 30.9.2025 the price of the accommodation includes the „Kärnten Card" for all guests, which gives you free use of cable cars, entry to beaches and swimming pools, boat trips on the Carinthian lakes, entry to museums and so on – up to 100 day-trip destinations in Carinthia free of charge.
